No, I don't believe tens of thousands of Freeper computers are malfunctioning. The focus of the problem is obvious. Or should be.

Go to your settings and cut the return count from the normal 50 to 20. What ever is causing the truncated results will get fixed — it always does. Until then, 20 works.
