Members of Congress are split over whether the U.S. should cut off military aid to Egypt in light of the deadly violence there.
Democratic leaders have generally supported the president's decision to continue the aid, but Rep. Keith Ellison wants to halt it. The Minnesota Democrat tells ABC's "This Week" that the U.S. should "cut off aid but engage in intense diplomacy."
Ellison says aid should be suspended until Egypt ends "the bloodshed in the street" and sets up a path toward democracy. Ellison is the first Muslim elected to Congress and is co-chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

“Egypt” will not end bloodshed until one side or the other is firmly in control. If the military wins then the end of the current vilence will come when the Brotherhood is all in prison, out of the country, or dead, IF the Brotherhood gains control the violence will end when all the Christians and other infidels are out of the country or dead whereupon yhr infidel structures will all be converted or razed, like the pyramids and ancient temples and such.
The Sauds and other wealthy Arab entities are taking up the “slack.” We should definitely end the aid as we should end foreign aid in general.
“Stop aid until the bloodshed is ended” is passive tense. Who will end it? This nonsense mouthed off by conservatives about cutting off aid because the military committed a coup is incomprehensible. The Egyptian military is carrying our water. Connect that with all the laws that Obama is ignoring and no one seems to mind. Evidently, the only way for the army to stop the violence, for now, is to surrender to the Muslim Brotherhood. That should make these conservative purists happy.

the King Of Saudi Arabia is sending Egypt $12 billion to replace our $1 billion and Putin if he responds to request for backing will end up with his picture on the entrance to the Suez canal and the Aswan Dam

One could pretty much plan their entire foreign policy by doing exactly the opposite of whatever Keith Ellison says should be done.
Should a member of the Muslim Brotherhood be allowed to weigh in?
Ellison is too ignorant to be a communist. it is an insult to communists to call Ellison one.
