You said it was not combat effective. I disagree. Fortunately the the military agrees with me and not you. If you prefer I am sure we could save a lot of money by using old hardware. Being superior costs a lot. Since I have worked on the aircraft and have friends who have also you might see why I take personal offense at you claiming that money was a waste.
