Wow. If Cruz is not conservative enough for you I don’t know who could be.
There might be room to disagree over the best approach to the situation in Egypt, but Obama is disregarding the law on this and many more issues. It is not our job to fund every war on the planet. If our nation’s interest are at stake, then we might need to intervene militarily. But why are we throwing money down this hole?
If you are siding with Obama over Cruz you need to do a self-check. You are in the wrong reality.

Actually, Cruz is DE FACTO supporting Obama’s position in Egypt. No: Not according to the letter of the law regarding foreign aid following coups, but — rather — in the bottom line category of who the hell’s side are you on? — that of the lying, murdering, Christian-killing Muslim Brotherhood, or that of the current military-backed Government that has blocked the MB Brotherhood’s power grab and has even promised to rebuild Churches in Egypt that the MB has burned and vandalized in their demonic wrath at having been thwarted?
And, lest you say this is simply an issue for the Egyptians, please think again: The MB has — during the past two administrations — infiltrated the US Government to a shocking degree (something of which most FReepers may not even be aware). This means that, if the Egyptian Government checkmates the MB’s plans for a major power grab in Egypt, then, it is potentially helping reign in the MB’s plans to Islamize the US. (Yes: It CAN happen here.)
I certainly am not advocating US military involvement in Egypt, but I do advocate speaking up for the forces of Liberty, as well on behalf of persecuted Christians.
Here is a link to an piece listing churches burned/vandalized in recent days by the MB in Egypt:

Have you heard either Obama (or his administration) or Cruz speak out on behalf of Egypt’s (or Syria’s) persecuted Christians in recent weeks? Neither have I.
