Prayers for for Phyllis and Jay's family and friends. May the Good Lord heal their pain, and may they be reunited in eternity in the Lord.

I am certainly no fan of islamists, nor of our mad zeal to import members of this Satan cult onto our shores --- but reading the article, this seems to be a case of someone who was just insane. Islam probably had nothing to do with it (although teaching craziness to someone who is going nuts is not exactly conducive to enhancing one's mental health).

Also, this is a pretty wretched article. Many words, and great sympathy for the murderer, but only a mention of Jay's name - and nothing about him.

Yes, the article I linked is very wretched… trying after the fact to paint this subhuman monster as “just a mixedup guy” who otherwise was “just normal”. I found two other articles that were more about the victims and the shocked local residents, but FR blocked my post links apparently because of past copyright complaints… good grief!
