Do not underestimate the liberal machine.

Why do you underestimate the conservatives in Texas?

I am admittedly cynical these days and for that I apologize. As a conservative, my hope of course is that Ms. Davis loses badly. I hope that texans rally to defeat her agenda of death and destruction.

It would still be unwise to underestimate the lengths that liberals will go to promote their agenda. It is always a mistake to underestimate your opponent. Lets not forget Texans have given themselves Sheila Jackson Lee, and yes I know she is from Houston, but adopting a “It can’t happen here” strategy is not the way to win this war.

There is a lot of diision in the Republican party...Lots of factions with many leaders bucking for attention and looking to issues as “what’s in it for me?” syndromes...Its a cyclic time inthe party and the timeing could not be worse, but it will has itself out in the end if we can keep the damage to a minimum from the infiltration of the liberatrians filling precinct chair positions in counties across the state...

And those Chairs usually get positions as delegates in county and state conventions that have in the past really mucked up the works...

Couple those distractions, with the invigorated efforts by the dems, and you have a multi-faceted threat to Texas’s political makeup for the next cycle...

The Republicans need to get out and bring an emotional, passionate message that needs to resonate with those voters that would vote for a Republican, yet are apathetic to the dire situation this state is potentially heading into...

The solid issues everyone knows where the Republicans stand on Abortion, Gun-Control, Fiscal Responsibility are well known and understood...The message needs to shift to countering the emotional message hitting home with the non-traditional voters on things like Immigration reform (why???), Cleaning house in the IRS, NSA, DoJ etc etc etc...

We have much to do and plenty of time to get those positive messages out and win seats and other offices state-wide!!!

And it is time for us at the grassroots level to explain our serious expectation to these candidates, and tell them we are tired of the fartin’ around they are getting caught up in!!! As much as YOU may liek a particular candidate, or incumbent, YOU need to communicate those concerns and expectations and NOT be apologetic about your positions!!! They work for you, and they need to be reminded of that peril, that they can and WILL be replaced (primaried out) if they go along to get along...

And for those folks in Strauss’s district...I have to say I would be embarrased about that situation, that goober has really screwed the pooch on many things that would benefit this state as Speaker of the House...I hope there is a serious challenger to that waste of space...

Besides after the last two sessions in Austin he does not like me very much anyway, and I could care less about that...Time for some of our elected officials to show a little more political courage in 2015 next session!!! And it starts next year...

Again, just my opinion...
