This is why we must dismantle these programs. Charity begins at home, and should stay in the community. To me, it was a natural conclusion that the programs would be abused as soon as the restrictions on food stamps went away. Little plastic card, buy pretty much whatever you want, avoid CRV taxes in many states, avoid bag taxes in many cities...

Delete that program, people will only starve if they choose to starve. There are plenty of options out there already, and let me tell you, people are more than willing to use all of them.

Can't count the number of times I helped out at food banks, I'd see the same people in three different locations on three consecutive days - they'd each grab enough food to feed a family of 4 for a week, go back to their SUV, and the four 'families' would fill the back and be at the next location.
