I didn’t mean to imply it was made up. Just wondered how such an important part of the story wasn’t getting major coverage.

But Facebook is the devil.

We are in close agreement, sarasmom.

Considering the manipulation going on in the MSM, I consider every possible alternative, and do not form an opinion based on anything I hear in the media or read on the internet.

I do my best to not hop on the “band-wagon, even if it is FR fabulous, decked out in all our favorite colors. I prefer to wait until we read or hear more (if we do, and are so lucky to get honest info, without an agenda!).

Who knows what the truth is, especially after the Zimmerman trial-by-press.

Praying that she is an innocent, saved by our brave “FeeBeeEye” squads, but am uncomfortable about the “assumed guilty” being taken out by snipers, because of the sketchy information given to us. There may be facts supporting their actions that we are not being told, which is part of the problem.

What do we really know for sure, about this tragic situation. I will not be assuming anything, because I don’t know enough, at this point, to have an opinion. All I can do is consider all the possible scenarios, and do my best to remain cautiously suspicious, considering how much we do not know about the circumstances of this domestic tragedy.

All that yammering off my chest, I am happy that she is alive, feel sorry for the load she will carry the rest of her life, and will be praying for her.

I am so sick of cable news “hot damsel in distress” or “hot babe does murder” or “hot slut gets murdered.” Frankly, I’m highly suspicious of said hottie whose mom and brother were murdered, and she’s riding horses in Idaho. These stories offer a lot of sick minds vicarious fantasies.

Why do people believe that the media and government is incompetent and full of agenda driven lies except for stories like these where everything the media and government reports is taken at face value? I’d like to hear more details of the circumstance in which he was killed.

I took a look over that but didn’t see that fact. Maybe you read it a day or two ago?

“Not going to rush to any conclusions, because I could be so very wrong. Not going to rush to any conclusions, because I could be so very wrong.

Even if she was “lolita” re-incarnated, no excuse for the “family friend” to take advantage, kill the mother, and little boy.”

I agree with you, however your jumping to the conclusion that it was he and not the 16 YO that killed the family.

“That “suspect” murdered an 8 year old boy.”

How do we know at this point that the 16 YO didn’t off the family. It has happened before...

So glad you got yet another chance to get all of that off your chest in a public forum!
I’m sure young Hannah Anderson will appreciate your attention to her life right now.(yes, that is sarcasm)
Bless your heart!
All your female ancestors are probably looking down at you and agreeing with me right now, in that you need to be blessed.

You say you pray...

waiting to hear the rest of this story...

some 16 yr. old girls are not as innocent as we would want them to be. I hope I am wrong, but something is bothering me about this.

I say again, I hope I am wrong, and that this girl is innocent - not mad at her mother for trying to set rules, fed up with her little brother for “telling on her”, etc..

Not going to rush to any conclusions, because I could be so very wrong.

Even if she was “lolita” re-incarnated, no excuse for the “family friend” to take advantage, kill the mother, and little boy.

I suggest you look up the "Stockholm syndrome" and study forms of psychological manipulation of sexual abuse victims. The girl's actions mean nothing. The fellow taking the dirt nap should carry all the blame, suspicion and accusations to his meeting with Old Scratch.

What’s wrong with you?

He KILLED her family, and ran with her.

20 years ago “due process” would have been the nearest tree.

I don’t care if a Sniper took him out, or a drone, or a rabid squirrel. People like this don’t need a trial, or my tax dollars trying to “understand” them.

He’s a POS who deserved what he got.

Tragic story, but bitter sweet ending.
Murdered mom and little brother.
I know the little country town’s of Lakeside and Humul.

I searched and found;

You have made the accusation twice. Now go apologize.

That may well enough be true. Or there could be more to the story. We don't know for sure. If I was an investigator and had access to all the information, I would sift it all very carefully, including how the guy died.

There is mention of the "week long trip" alleged to have been cut short, here; http://www.coloradonewsday.com/national/10948-james-dimaggio-police-warn-man-who-kidnapped-hannah-anderson-16-could-be-armed-with-bombs.html

It appears he was a close family friend of the parents. Had known them since before the girl was born.

What I'm wondering is...how did the mother (who was killed, along with Hannah's younger brother) end up at the house which burned down, in the first place? There was some mention (I forget where) there was to be some send-off for this DiMaggio guy.

I'm losing track of what sources I've opened (that one link keeps reloading-- I had to close another one and not link from it here, Gannet sources don't like FR IIRC) but there was mention this DiMaggio guy was having to move from where he was living, why, I don't know. Was going to be on his way to Texas, allegedly? Then, part of this family he had long been "friends" of, ends up at his house, two die, but the saucy looking 16 yr old goes with him...for six days? Does not sound good for him. He looks to have been a creep. But if I was a cop, I'd not assume anything totally without reservation, but be making sure, doing whatever needed doing (or asking) to find out what actually happened all along the line...

Guess we do not have much in common after all.

Here’s an idea (not very original). You go your way, and I’ll go mine.

Surely we each have better things to do than snipe at each other over our individual takes on another horrible human tragedy.

And, yes, I do pray.
