Can any of you oldsters (those over 50), thinking back to when you were a kid, imagine what would happen to any guy walking down the street in your neighborhood, dressed like this?

I cannot imagine anyone walking down my road dressed like that TODAY.
But then I do live in the desert where we wear boots and sidearms.

But if it happened now, they'd put guys dressed like that, on the list of hate-crime protected groups.

Well, I'm a leading edge Boomer, and I remember some of the 50's styles, featuring pink and black nylon shirts, pointy white shoes, and skin-tight pants--the hipster look.

In my opinion, no man should ever wear pastels or bright colors. The ideal color for a man's shirt would be the color of John McClain's wife-beater shirt in the last few scenes of "Die Hard."

I'm always on the look-out for interesting earth tones when I buy shirts for my husband or father, but a typical polo shirt will come in 20 different colors, of which only about 4 are good subtle colors--and those are the ones that are usually sold out! Shouldn't that tell the manufacturer that men (and the women who buy their clothes) don't want magenta or lime green shirts.
