I agree with everything that you said. This is not the first time alex has spewed his anti America rant and he loves to tell us we are idiots and fools for not leaving ourselves. If we did... his socialist security checks would stop and without money... well you get the point. I will answer Lady Liberty’s call... all she need do is ask. I happen to think that we can save this republic... if there is one anywhere worth saving... America is it.

I had family that survived the Bataan Death March and the concentration camp. A Christian Japanese guard saved many lives in his camp and they remained friends until both passed away. He acquired a taste for garbanzo beans while in that hell hole... he never quit eating them. He said it was what the guard secretly supplied them with to keep them from starving. If anyone doubts that the Japanese could be rabid animals... well you already know. If anyone doubts the power of CHRIST... well they could have asked Pat about that. The chicoms might want to think about screwing with the Japanese... they have no PC restraints.

He’s a piece of work, for sure.
It’s easy to run away, then come back when the hard stuff is done. Guess he’ll come back singing “The Internationale” and waving the flag of whatever side wins...
“...he loves to tell us we are idiots and fools for not leaving ourselves. ...”
Seems to me the only fool is himself. Cowardly fool.
If EVER there was a candidate for Sam Adams’ statement about “we desire neither your counsel nor your arms...” he appears to be it - along with “Crouch and lick the hand that feeds ye...”
But hey... as long as HE’s safe and comfortable... that’s what’s important.

Somehow, I don’t think the ChiComs will have any PC restraints either, brother...
There’s a long history of mutual hatred between the Chinese and the Japanese. If that happens, that’s definitely going to be a case of the two baddest kids on the block meeting up and beating the hell out of each other to see who’s still standing...

Amazing what one man can do for others.

Equally amazing how brutal one man can be to others...especially when they can’t fight back.

Thanks, brother... I just saw red from that guy. It fell on deaf ears with him, unfortunately. A classic case of complete douchebaggery, that guy... for sure.
It’s good he’s an expatriate. We don’t need cowards.

Well said... and I'll ad that Civil War certainly will fix it... IF executed correctly, and adequately.

At risk of sounding harsh here, I'm growing very weary of people in CAP pulling the "I Serve" card. I'm tired of their stories of glory days of when they were cadets, and their attempts of equating CAP volunteer action to military service.
I'm going to give you some insight that the vets in your wing won't give you.
We're tired of hearing it
We're tired of hearing the rhetoric of attempt to equate CAP service (and other types as well) to having served in our Military. Unless you swore an oath and were inducted into Military Service, and fell under authority of command, you might as well have been a Peace Corps volunteer as far as we're concerned.
While I commend you for volunteering in such a worthy effort as CAP (one which I also participate in), there's simply no comparison to having served in our military. For one, YOU can simply walk away from CAP if you want to. Your "service" is completely AT WILL. Try that same action while being Active Duty, or even being a Reservist, or National Guard. Article 15 of the UCMJ is alive and kicking in the military... TODAY. Not so with CAP! Those of us who are Vets are said to be "volunteers", but technically it equates closer to the conditions of indentured servitude. We volunteered IN, but can't afterward simply volunteer OUT...at least not until terms and conditions and length of contract are fulfilled.
If you do leave, when you get back, and discover that people like us Vets held it all together and recovered this horrid situation to some degree, go ahead and explain your logic to those Vets around you at CAP. Observe the looks on their faces and take careful note. Because chances are, they're not going to really tell you what they're thinking. But don't be surprised if they treat you very differently, and by this I don't mean that they're going to buy you rounds for your contribution to the overall effort.
Go ahead... leave. I can understand you not wanting to ruin retirement, and we don't after all want for you to be uncomfortable or lacking...heaven forbid! I'm grateful that our Signers of The Declaration of Independence didn't think and act this way.

Yeah... I deal with this issue at CAP often enough for it to be a major irritant. It's one thing for Cadets to tell their stories. I have a pretty high tolerance level for that. But I've just gotten flat tired of CAP senior members pretending to be in the Military through CAP. It's more of a pet peeve than anything. But every CAP senior member I know who's a Vet has the same pet peeve. :-) I guess we can all be wrong together eh?! :-)

“...more of a pet peeve than anything....”
It’s understandable.
Being able to quit something at will is not the same as being committed for the length of time.
And quitting from your country when every man jack is needed is just ridiculous. And disgusting. Especially when so many decent people died to build and protect it.
It’s sad to even have to have this discussion.
