Been a mild a pleasant summer in Houston this year. NOT so hot.
I’ve been trying to avoid mentioning it because it’s been so good. Don’t want to break a streak as we enter August.
Hasn’t been an “active hurricane year” as they predicted for this area, either.
Consistently 3 to 5 degrees below average in Huntsville, Alabama this summer.
Try living about 180 miles west. We have had 100+ days for the past week and more expected the rest of August. We need a hurricane or tropical depression here.
They have got to be kidding me. Its been one of the coldest year’s overall in DC and the mid atlantic.

ATL has been quite cool, and July was soaking wet. Farmers are having a tough time of it, it has been so wet.
I saw a map that seemed to indicate ATL was only a half a degree cooler than normal in July. I call complete B.S. on that. It was much cooler than that.
