Sen. Marco Rubio's immigration push might have hurt his chances of winning the GOP presidential nomination, Republican lawmakers say. [WATCH VIDEO]
While it’s still a long way until 2016, a number of GOP lawmakers in the House and Senate say Rubio (R-Fla.) will have to repair his standing with the conservative base if he hopes to be his party's next candidate for president.
“There's terrible disappointment with Marco Rubio specifically,” says Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), an opponent of the Senate immigration bill that Rubio helped write and pass. “I don't think it's going to help him anywhere.”

Beware of Levin a voice is telling me, he rose to fame feeding talking points to Rush Limbaugh who called his DC source “F. Lee Levin.”
He (Levin)gave Rubio air time and I still remember Rush giving Arlen Specter several airtimes including one right before the 2004 primary election.

I like what comes from Cruz and Palin, some of what Rand Paul has to say and some of what Glenn Beck is saying.
Beyond that I don’t like what’s going on out there although I left out some worthy members of the House.
Rubio should buy an ice-cream scooter and a clown suit. He’d make a killing in some neighborhoods.
I heard Mike Lee on Rush this week and was equally disappointed.
Not in my life time. Who is sweating more? Us for coming so close to believing he was a conservative and treating him accordingly? Or him for taking off his disguise a little to early and showing his true identity? We were fooled but it could have been worse.
I heard him on Levin too. I also heard Levin say he doesn’t want to talk about the “I” word because he’s not in the mood.
Channel got changed directly after that.
Mark, if you are not going to call this lying traitor out when you have the chance, then I am not interested in what either of you have to say.
There is nothing Rubio can say to gain my vote again, and your giving him a platform to try just infuriates me.

Levin & Rush were both used. I think they are still somewhat shocked by how they were set-up by Rubio & Chuck Shummer, and then how the democrats laughed about the set-up in public after the fact. Amazing times we live in.
