SJB pinged me because he knows I love tormenting the Bush-bots by reminding them of his real record, not their imaginary one. Many of them fled here in 2011 and many others still here dont mention GWB anymore short a ‘miss Bush yet’ thread they cant resist.
Bush's hands were all over the (his term) housing bubble and he could have stopped it in time ~ mid 2004 but the actions required would not have been popular. By late 2005 house prices had risen too- high too-fast to result in anything but disaster.
