Funny how GOP loyalists were falling all over themselves to take credit for the housing bubble upswing, but as soon as it turns sour AFTER GWB re-election it was all Fwank, Clinton and Carters fault. Bush knew NOTHING, NOTHING about all those easy loans and low interest rates,, just like Obama and Benghazi.

President Bush Mortgage Speech 2002(Helping those w bad credit buy houses)

President Bush Reiterates Goal on Homeownership, Remarks by the President on Homeownership, Department of Housing and Urban Development Washington, D.C. (2002)

Early in George W. Bush’s first administration, a home ownership initiative was introduced, sometimes referred to as the Blueprint for the American Dream, to close the homeownership gap by 5.5 million minority families. Along with this homeownership initiative, there were other policies implemented to dismantle barriers to homeownership in minority communities.” from :

Indeed. You have no evidence.

You cite a 2002 speech as cause for the 2008 crash.

You ignore dems taking over congress in 2007. Mocking me as if frank persuaded bush to agree to the lack of proper limits. No. The dems took control of congress and the GSEs. Congress controls the GSEs. President can only recommend. Which bush did 17 times.

You ignore direct evidence where dems admit they caused the crisis. Frank quit congress over this.

You are not sick of libs. You are their great defender.

It is like blaming Coolidge for the depression—which dems do and faux conservatives play along with. The dems are at war with capital and they have never flinched on that. You play along with republican support of markets as causing collapse. It’s not true. Capitalism doesn’t cause crashes.

You have to parenthetically insert false content to the 2002 to make a pretense of your argument.

Dems caused the housing crisis and you’re defending their actions sickoflibs.
