If criticism is due for any of the above (nobody is perfect in all ways?) then it better be on-point, specific to something actually said, with reasons for why supplied.
The "why" often gives them away. Dig a bit deeper and all sorts of fubar stuff is often found in casual critics of the above.
Or else they're just grumps who hardly like anybody, or are having a bad day. Asking that latter sort "who lit the fuse on your tampon?" can be good for a laugh...
