McCain is absolutely right. NO Republican will support anyone who listens to that fool! Go crawl in your rocking chair, Johnny Twoface! 2016 will go to the Dems.

Strange... as soon as I saw the headline I instantly said out loud to myself “FUJM”... then I opened the thread...

I didn’t say John McCain was scared - I said he has senile dementia - which usually means he is oblivious to what is going on around him ... Bottom line McCain does not have sufficient cognitive thinking ability to be a U.S. Senator and should be removed from office

I often write that Mister McCain absolutely LIVES for heavy petting from NYT and WaPo.

I need to temper the criticism a bit as, to this non-clinician, one worries that he appears to be "out of focus" on the big picture, and further worries that this just might be worsening with age.

One wonders (and this is written with genuine concern) if he is suffering from some kind of senility (possibly due, in part to the brutality of his vc captors).

Our posts show similar worries.

With genuine concern, and trying to be tactful...

Maybe it's time for Mister McCain to consider a thorough evaluation (including a brain scan) and depending on the result, potentially early retirement of his 6-year term.

Thursday on NPR: let's say we enact it, comprehensive immigration reform. I don't think it gains a single Hispanic voter, but what it does, it puts us on a playing field where we can compete for the Hispanic voter.

Friday on ABC- McCain: Immigration crucial to GOP 2016 hopes

Nonsense.

Nonsense.”

Hispanics are reproducing faster than whites are. And illegals offspring can legally vote if born here. And they are voting Dem.
So it is not like there is NO problem.

But to McCains deceptiveness he needs to be asked : ‘Then exactly what positions must the GOP take to get the Hispanics vote?’

Until they tells us that its all BS.

My point is that McC's 2 statements one day apart are contradictory.

But to McCains deceptiveness he needs to be asked : ‘Then exactly what positions must the GOP take to get the Hispanics vote?’

If McC knew the answer (assuming there is a way) he would have done better in 2008.

RE :”My point is that McC’s 2 statements one day apart are contradictory”

I didn't get that from those quotes.

There is more to winning elections than getting 'their' votes, in that he could be saying that killing immigration will turn out Dem voters to vote against the GOP. Obama got millions of first time voters in both elections just by getting them to vote.

But back to my point :
McCain and Grahamnsety do have an idea of what they think it takes to really get Hispanic votes to GOP. But they wont say because it will totally p.. off many Republicans.

So they allow illegals the vote first w amnesty and then......more bad news...... more concessions required.

Maybe that's what he meant (if he even knows what he meant) but remember what the GOP % of Hispanics was before and after 1986.

I cant tell you what McCain meant as he is being dishonest but I was saying that is why I missed that specific point you were trying to getting across, regarding the two days.
As I was on the other closely related point.

McCain wanted us to believe that passing amnesty would get GOP votes, but now he feels he must fess up and tell us that is not exactly true. So caving on amnesty is tiny baby step to getting hispanic votes us what he always believed.

Yes , he being deceptive,

If the GOP can find the gonads to OPPOSE amnesty (and REPEAL Obama's hostile health care takeover), then they have a chance.

Corrupt Third World federales are salivating over the thought of zillions in US tax dollars----so it engages in agit/prop WRT the spineless latino vote. Conniving strategy is to scare vote-crazed pols into thinking these hyphenates hold sway over US politics.

Hah.

CASE IN POINT Incumbent NJ Dem Gov Corzine spent millions on reelection:

<><>Obama and Biden campaigned in the state for him several times.

<><>Obama gifted Corzine w/ $17.5 billion "stimulus" which promptly disappeared.

<><> They held secret rah-rah meetings w/ latinos.

<><> He had a latino PAC backing him.

<><> Corzine flooded the airwaves w/ costly TV ads featuring the then-popular Obama.

<><> He spent some $20 million just to get out the vote w/ union canvassers.

<><> NJ is registered 10-1 Democrat.

<><> Corzine's opponent ran w/ an ex-sheriff who had gone after criminal latinos.

END OF STORY---Corzine lost handily.

Loser McCain has zero credibility WRT US elections. His losing 2008 campaign against Obama is the proof——this guy actually got Obama elected. Told voters what a “great guy” Obama was-—and on ntl TV McC stupidly silenced a supporter who dared criticize Obama. His entire campaign was a plus-perfect joke.

Where does he get off telling us how to run elections? Self serving jerk—gets facetime on TV talk. Gets us nothing.

“Shut up you idiot.”
