McDonalds is a franchise operation. The "CEO" is also the owner and entrepreneur. There is no one to "fire him." He is risking his own money to keep the business alive and growing.

Local franchise owners yes....most CEOs no. They get to rake in the big money for doing nothing and for incompetence. They get protected too by their labor contracts. Something is majorly wrong.

Whoaaaa. If they display incompetence they need fired, same as the underlings. I’m tired of supporting the rich CEOs and entrepreneurs with my tax money. Capitalism works only if capitalists risk their own money, not ours. If they create a job, that is their job, and why do they want subsidized? If they can’t do their job, they should be fired first and given the boot.
