About 20 years ago, my cousin had a tick he didn’t know about and later, he got really sick.
It took *years* for them to correctly diagnose him and by then, it was too late.
He’s still a mess.
When Odin came up positive at 6 months [probably passed from his dam] he got 600mg a day for 3 months.
An IDEXX Quant C-6 test after that showed <9 titer which is considered ‘clinically insignificant’.
His health insurer has even stricken it from the record so it’s no longer considered “pre-existing” if he gets it again.
