If I see one [which is rare] hubby is sent out on lawn detail and the whole yard is soaked with Permethrin.
Really puts a hurt on ‘em.
I also stopped feeding the birds in the dogs’ yard as they ~and~ the critters attracted to the feeders can carry them.
Since I did that and ripped out my wild blackberry bush, I hardly ever see any.
The one on my toe was a wood tick from the trees we cleared out and piled up in the pasture.
I wish I had a flock of Guineas.
