Found it, and yep, the road literally just runs into the water. And of course, the ramp is made for that, it goes in shallow.

And now I’m thinking that if the park had been privately owned, there would be a lawsuit about having a gate across the road before the boat ramp, to prevent accidental drowning. But since this is a state park, I don’t think there is a legal way to sue.

That happened to an elederly couple in Seattle awhile ago. Luckily their son was waiting for them at the marina’s resteraunt and was able to rescue them after he watched them drive in!

I still say something stinks in Denmark (and it’s not the fish) and I am a woman driver, or course, and not that great but even I’d know if I was driving into a lake....c’mon!
