I can't get a straight answer from my Senators or House Representative.

How can the US Gov't send military aid and equipment to Syrian rebels - who are known to be allied with Al Qaida - without committing treason?

It’s not treason when THEY do it.

The short answer is that they can’t.

I can’t imagine ANY piece of intelligence that could tell us which side to support.

We had no business in Libya... we have no business in Egypt... we have no business in Syria... we know that every time that a strongman is toppled by us in the ME... that the muzzies turn to islam and iran. We had no business in Iraq... although I thought we did at the time... we could have bought saddam and turned him towards iran. We should have attacked and killed all taliban in Afghanistan and mowed them down when they were pulling out of Kabul and running to tora bora... we should have mined all mountain passes and destroyed all of the poppy fields... and we should have put pokiston into a death grip until they puked up binny.

Civil wars are the worst kind of war and outsiders, even under the best circumstances, should think long and hard before becoming involved.

Except for an emotional tie to a Christian community that has existed there since the time of the Apostles, and in keeping the country from becoming an even greater threat to Israel, we have no interests in Syria. And both those interests would be best served by the government forces winning this war.

I understand why an Islamist like Obama would support the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaida. But the level of sheer stupidity exhibited by McCain and now Boehner is appalling. Not unexpected, but incredible nonetheless.
