NAACP Seminole chapter to hold town hall meeting on Zimmerman verdict tonight
The Seminole County branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will hold a town hall meeting tonight at Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Sanford to give the public an opportunity to discuss the George Zimmerman trial and verdict.
Turner Clayton, president of the NAACP’s Seminole County branch, said the verdict was not fair and definitely not impartial.
The NAACP branch is calling for the U.S. Department of Justice to file civil-rights charges against Zimmerman.
Tonight’s town hall meeting will begin at 7 at 1203 Olive Ave. in Sanford’s historic Goldsboro community.
Why does the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People always seem to have their gear in reverse?
“National Association for the Advancement of Colored People”
Wait. I thought they didn’t like to be called colored people, yet it is in the title of their organization! The hypocrisy is disgusting!
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but...
He can’t be tried for civil rights violations unless he works for the government, can he?
