This really has to be the dumbest most pointless protest ever. Think about the problems in this country, particularly in the black community, and this is their issue to care about???? WHY?
I was talking about that yesterday, and the conclusion I came to is that this is all coming from the White house. Obama is organizing this to draw attention away from the Benghazi hearings, Egypt and how Obamacare is proving to be a disaster. Al Sharpton is $2.6 million in debt to the IRS yet he regularly meets with Obama. You do the math on what they talked about.
Because the agitators would rather bring down whitey than bring up themselves.
Amnesty is the greatest example of this. The millions of potential new citizens overwhelmingly live in urban areas (next to blacks) where they will take jobs formerly held by black people. Amnesty will undoubtedly increase black unemployment. These new citizens, who are overwhelmingly minorities, will also take affirmative action slots from blacks. Black liberal leaders don't care, though. In their minds the millions of new citizens are overwhelmingly People of Color who will band together with them to topple white control in America.
People like to be involved in things like "hands across America" or lining up to buy that $300 pair of sneakers.
Considering the state of our country, chances are that these people do not have jobs, maybe not had jobs for years, now comes a chance to join the circus! Blame your failures on someone else, get attention, get involved emotionally and move along with the momentum.
Trust me, they really didn't care about the thug but now they've invested themselves emotionally and won't quit. The group will stop 'thuggin' on each other while they are kept busy with this enterprise - it's a summer vocation. Once over, they'll be eating each other again.
