President Barack Obama, breaking his silence on the George Zimmerman acquittal, said Friday that many African-Americans believe that “both the outcome and the aftermath might have been different” if Trayvon Martin had been white. “You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son,” Obama said somberly during a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room. “Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago.” In searingly personal terms, Obama described his personal experience with race-based prejudice. “There are very few African-American men in this country who haven’t had the experience of being followed when they were shopping in a department store -- that includes me,” he said.

Really? Never once, as a young, often irresponsible, man, did I ever engage in behavior that led me to leap on a law abiding citizen much older than me, smash him in the face with my fists and bang his head repeatedly against the concrete.
Are YOU, "Mr. President" (scare quotes intentional) saying that you DID engage in this kind of behavior, or COULD have?

I clicked on vid to make sure I’d heard Obummer correctly on the radio while driving home. Sure enough, he said that blacks were looking thru their experiences and history “that doesn’t go away.”
And WHY DOESN’T IT GO AWAY OBUMMER??? Maybe if you and your race baiting pals would SHUT UP...I for one do not want to have a discussion about race THAT Y’ALL SET UP AND DEFINE. He also yapped in a smarmy, but phoney soothing voice about his thoughts and prayers going out to the baby daddy and mommy...I didn’t listen to the whole thing (gag me), but wonder if HE EVEN FLIPPIN’ MENTIONED PRAYING/THINKING ABOUT THE ZIMMERMAN FAMILY. It might have been smart TO INCLUDE THEM YOU IDIOT!!!!!!!!!
He also said: “There are very few African-American men who haven’t had the experience of walking across the street and hearing the locks click on the doors of cars.” I’ve taken to doing that very thing ON PURPOSE just so blacks know I’m on the ball. I feel like yelling out the window “I did that because I KNOW WHO IS COMMITTING MOST OF THE VIOLENT CRIME.”
