Ayoob is one of the tops of the field. If he says something I listen. If it’s something I don’t agree with, I’ll listen even more. As usual he takes the calm, rational approach and explains it well here.
His book on matters related to defending oneelf with arms, "In The Gravest Extreme" is worthy of mention here.
