That does sound right. If you set out to defame someone, this reads like a textbook on how to do it. Comcasts lawyers will move quickly to settle of course, but I hope GZ keeps them dangling for a year or two. It will be “bad for bidness” and that’s the only kind of pain NBC and it’s owners will actually care about.

And I hope Z’s attorney extracts a bloody good settlement out of them RIGHT AWAY, so he can...

a) get out from under his legal bills
b) get on with living his life — law school, whatever
c) afford the extra protection he’ll need for his family
d) have some seed money to go after any and all entities that screwed him over in further civil suits
