This reminds me of the story about John Wooden scolding Bill Walton for participating in a protest that blocked traffic. Wooden asked him how he would feel if his protest had blocked an ambulance from the hospital. Walton admitted that he didn’t have a good answer for that.

I think you’ve seen too many zombie movies - in real life, folks tend to scatter, not bunch up, when a vehicle comes through a crowd at speed.

No, in reality, if the crowd is sufficient, there will be a certain number that will not get out of the way soon enough because of the chaos, did not see it coming, stumbling, falling—you know, like stampedes in cases of fire. If you’ve ever driven in snow, you know full well that it does not take much to compromise tire traction if enough “material” packs under the frame. (I do enjoy zombie movies!)

At such times, it is comforting to know that Americans once successfully dealt with the most powerful empire on earth at the time of the American Revolution. Our track record since then has been remarkable as tyrants slave traders, and other assorted, sordid enemies have discovered.
I fear bureaucrats and educators in the Pooblik Skrewl Collective have become our worst enemies. Riotous blacks, hispanics, whatever - all can be dealt with when they turn destructive.
Reducing government back to its Constitution defined bounds is another matter. Ditto for the Pooblik Screwl Collective members.
