I haven’t been here as long as many others, but in the few years I have, I found that’s what FReepers want most - to uncover the truth, however unpleasant it may be. I believe FReepers feel stronger when they are informed, and this conversation is an attempt to become informed.
This is much different than going on television and lying or speculating to a mass audience, at someone else’s expense.
I understand what you’re saying. It’s exasperating when you are surrounded by a bunch of judgemental, hypocrits on a witch hunt and you feel you gotta prove them wrong. But yes we do need to keep in mind that there are millions of troubled kids who do drugs, get into fights, and other illegal things. This one was killed because like some others he went too far, but he did pay the ultimate price. And aside from society feeling sorry for all involved, it should have ended there.
