The media has focuses heavily on the fact that Treyvon purchased Skittles at 7-11 before his confrontation with Zimmerman, but they fail to mention he was also buying Arizona Fruit Juice, both of which are ingredients commonly used to create a home-made drug called “Sizzurp” or “Lean”. Trayvon, with his hoodie up, grabs two items from the shelves of 7-11. One is the Skittles. The other is Arizona Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail. The media avoid the name of the real drink — possibly because of the racial implications of the word “watermelon,” but possibly to avoid probing the real reason for Trayon’s trip.
Trayvon, in fact, had become a devotee of the druggy concoction known as “Lean,” also known in southern hip-hop culture as “Sizzurp” and “Purple Drank.” Lean consists of three basic ingredients — codeine, a soft drink, and candy. If his Facebook postings are to be believed, Trayvon had been using Lean since at least June 2011.
The media tells us over and over again that Treyvon was just a child out getting Skittles, and on his way home to watch some cartoons like other young children do. Is it possible they were lying to us?

Because, in order to thwart those efforts, the TRUTH about Martin needs to be told in every possible way to as many people as possible. (It isn’t “smearing” if it’s the truth.) Making every person aware of Trayvon’s past and his true character will be necessary to help Zimmerman get final justice.

I saw the Facebook. He looks like 75% of the other black and white 17 year olds on Facebook- a total wimpy wannabe.
The racial industrial complex and MSM attempted to portray Martin’s possesion of Skittles and Ice tea as being an indicator and the very epitome of childish sweet toothed innocence. Given this prospective thug’s extensive juvenile record, the school suspensions, the facebook discussions on how to concoct this drink for best intoxicant effect and references to weed sales, the videos involving fight club participation and many other negatives, many of us wish to counter this narrative with a more sinister explanation for that possesion. (based on reasonable speculation)
After all, these folks are CONSTANTLY telling us how they could read GZ’s mind as to how he INTENDED to MURDER Martin with NO EVIDENCE upon which to base such a conclusion.
I have to disagree with you there. 75% of 17 year olds don’t post about looking for illegal drugs. Sex yes. Drugs that can get them arresred, not so much. I do surmise from his postings that he is a “wannabe” thug. We will never know if he would have turned around because he thought it cool to be tough and impose a beat down on Z. Not a wise choice.
Kids need to learn that the choices they make affect the rest of their lives... Including having it cut short by overdoses, gangsters, the police, and citizens who aren’t going to take it anymore. Instead of lauding this kid as a badge of racism, his name should be issued as a warning to other kids as to what can happen when one chooses to act a fool.

Just read through the thread and I must say you did an excellent job in attempting to educate those who simply miss the mark on this.
Nobody is celebrating TM’s death, nobody is trying to make him into a little monster, and the idea the anyone here is tearing him down for whatever purpose, is so idiotic it’s almost laughable. What you wrote is the truth, the media chose TM as their poster boy - and that racist holder ran with it.

FWIW, this is a promising direction. However, we must admit that codeine is a controlled item and is not in cough syrup, Nyquil, etc., sold over the counter. It requires a doctor’s prescription, since it is an opiate.
“Codeine or 3-methylmorphine (a natural isomer of methylated morphine) is an opiate used for its analgesic, antitussive, antidiarrheal, antihypertensive, anxiolytic, antidepressant, sedative and hypnotic properties. “
That’s not to say other opiates won’t work or that they can’t be found on the street.
We need, though, to be realistic about Nyquil and Robitussin from over the counter.

The lies and propaganda I was reffering to here was from the TM lefty liberal side in the media. Perhaps you took it in the wrong way?! It was in reply, or rather, as a defense to the person who stated, in so many words, that it’s wrong to keep putting down a kid who’s dead.Follow the whole conversation instead of pouncing on someone when you obviously don’t know where they’re coming from.

When I said the above I was referring to rabid Trayvon Martin supporters. I would have thought that obvious but anyways....

Also the statement above insinuates that there are a lot more TM’s out there but unlike a lot of them he did pay the consequence for his actions. And being a public trial the media and people against GZ could have vocalized their sympathy for the family but beyond that the protests and gov. getting involved, the death threats and actually “honoring” this person obviously should never have happened. But this isn’t the America we knew and loved anymore. Peace out.

Is there a Doc that can confirm this? I would like to debate a left leaner with a little more than a couple of non medical opinions. No offense intended, but this is getting blasted on some liberal sites as right wing hysteria. No doubt he was an abuser of whatever would get him high, but can 17 year olds start to show signs of liver damage?
