Police say the “victim” was one of two youths who were breaking into cars at 03:30 am. Scott, a homeowner, armed himself and went outside and confronted them. One youths charged Scott and was shot dead.
Breaking into cars and houses and stores is a bit more dangerous now than it once was. Also attacking someone while meaning to do bodily harm isn’t so safe anymore, either.
