“...the MassHoles have overtaken NH”
Not before they overtook VT!
I suppose we could have one big gubernatorial/senatorial election. The highest vote-getters becomes gov/sens of CA, 2nd gets NY, and on down the line by population till we get to WY. Then there’d be no quibbling about state residency/loyalty and such.
At least here she wouldn't be running in a primary against a sitting sort-of-Conservative senator. Johann's retiring.
Well, she ought to move her a** there, too, if she's going to run. Remember, folks, the Cheneys are no friends of the tea party. Can you say "GOPe"?
Though'cha could.
“Rand made a cutting, sarcastic remark about the possibility Ted Cruz might run for P.
Now he does same about the prospective primary challenge in a Senate race in which he isnt even involved?
What gives?”
Rand is a libertarian stooge that is what gives. He has disdain for social conservatism, anybody against Muslim terrorism, and people who might take him on in a republican presidential race. Guy is self-absorbed just like Marco Rubio and Ron Paul. He might even support Amnesty under the right conditions as Rand had his own plan that he was crafting in march. Rand is a mess. He is basically appeasing his fathers supporters.
He seemed OK for a few minutes until he started to act a bit too libertarian for my tastes.
I don’t get it. Rand would have a better chance of Liz aligning herself with him in the Senate than Enzi. I like Rand but maybe he’s afraid of the competition.
Liz Cheney wasn't anywhere near Wyoming for decades, until she purchased a home there a few months ago to run for a Senate seat. You ever notice MOST of these long-time political insiders have their primary residence in "Virginia"? It's so they can stay in the beltway year round.
