To: Kozak

My dad was one of those with polio in your time frame. They didn’t think he was going to live through it. When he did, they said he’d never walk again. He’ll be 70 this year. His left foot and leg are a thin twisted mess but with the help of special shoes he is still walking. Honestly, I’m not sure how much longer he’ll be able to do that without the use of a cane. I’m grateful for the polio vaccine today.
