Asking parents to phone their kids and tell them to get home.
Asking for help from parents and the community.
Hope they don't hold their breath waiting for that to happen.

If in the unlikely event that any of the newsies or community folks just happen to reading this thread, let me tell you, Bunkie....it ain’t a ‘Leave It To Beaver’ type of home.
If you want an idea...in the BEST case scenario, Dad & Mom are dead tired and in bed by now so they can work at their jobs just to keep their heads above water because Obama F’ed up the economy so badly and don’t have time to raise ‘Junior’.
It’s MORE likely that ‘Junior’ doesn’t have a dad, and Mom is either drunk, high, or doesn’t give a rat’s ass because she knows it’s a hopeless case to try to bring Junior up right.
And...if Mom or Dad DID try to call them, they’re likely so full of Purple Drank, or weed, or just plain old alcohol that they wouldn’t listen anyway.
Now...in light of the reality of the situation, what options do you have left?
