If I was the prosecution or the Martin family I’d be pretty upset that those 3 who were initially guilty folded so quickly.
It’d be interesting to hear from some of them as to why they switched.
It appears the jury was not actually part of an anti-black white establishment stacked against black males.
He has not been in jail for 16 months.
I think she’s hearing snippets about the ‘racist jury’, not a jury of TM’s peers (LOLOLOL), etc., and it’s upsetting, hence the tears.
That’s why she teared up; the frustration that people don’t believe they put alot into the decision.
I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest that ONE reason this gusty gal went on teevee is to cut through some of the silly liberal racial animus and declare that it in fact was NOT about race. Defuse the situation to the degree she could.
(Nevertheless I don’t begrudge her her profit motive, if that’s the larger reason she’s doing it. It’s not like she answered an employment ad to get on a jury...)

Whatever her motive, it was incredibly interesting to hear how things went down behind closed doors.
Yeah, it takes ten or twenty to one to shut some of us up. Or an ISP outage. :-)
I also wish AC pinned her down more on whether the other 3 swicthed more because they believed Zimmerman and O’Mara’s innocence claim or more because they felt that the state just didn’t prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt. I have a feeling it’s the latter.
It sounds like she said that they all felt that at the moment of truth GZ legitimately was in fear of his life or serious harm, or that the state never proved that he wasn’t.

I heard that. I meant I’d like to hear more in detail. Was it all 3 who switched together? One by one? Did they switch because they bought O’Mara’s argument or more because they just didn’t think the state proved their case? Just a bit more detail than a general statement like that.
