The author is not seeing the even bigger picture. This whole episode was nothing more than an Obama administration-whipped media frenzy designed to distract folks from its own rampant corruption- Fast & Furious, Benghazi, IRS attacking conservatives, DOJ spying on journalists, NSA spying on all citizens, and on and on.

This case is an example of this administration and Holders corruption, it’s not a distraction from it.

Exactly.

Street toughs I understand. They are boring, predictable, and not all that dangerous if you take the proper precautions.

The way that this local case became a media narrative, and a hobby horse for the Democrat party is instructive, though. And watching the criminal justice system become the political tool of the current administration is nothing short of chilling.

That said, and now that it can’t be ignored, there’s really only one question. “What are we going to do about it?”
