Worst mistake Moshe Dayan ever made was to give the Temple Mount to the very same people who were already preaching to kill the Jews and Christians for at least 30 years (and who were in alliance with Hitler in WW2).

I was on the Temple Mount with our tour group. One of our tour had a prayer shawl, which was taken from him before we went up. We were told not to pray, and to watch what we said. we were not allowed in the mosque or the dome of the rock. I said a prayer silently.
We were told that a Christian woman was spotted standing in the same place for a long time, and they guessed that she was praying silently, so they ejected her.
And still the muslims hate the Jews and Israel. It goes to show that Churchill was right about appeasement. It’s feeding the crocodile, hoping that he eats you last.
