Typical of white college kids. Always over-compensating to show they are "not racist" and to pretend they are in "solidarity" with their fellow black students. So they are quick to jump onto what they perceive as "black issues" with just a tad too much enthusiasm.

I'm sure they provide much amusement for their black classmates.

You are right there. I was friends at school with a black girl who used to always make remarks to me about “N***** this” and “N*****that,” and “Tonight Ima meet my N****z at the club,” and one day I said, “Why do you say stuff like that???!” Her response was, “Because it makes me laugh when you cringe.” She found it highly entertaining.
