Here's the deal, most of us can multi-task. I know about immigration, and I am constantly working with my reps and writing about it.
But I also recognize the dangers of a corrupt state prosecutor and DOJ, and the politics of race that are also destroying us...so I write about that too.
If we focus on only one thing...we will be overwhelmed by ten others. So we fight them all.
Yes, I have tried to post it everywhere.
The thing is, it is not multitasking and it is not fighting several battles nyu are looking at the trees and not the forest. The trees are Benghazi, fast and furious, Henry Louis Gates and Trayvon Martin, the IRS, the NSA and all of the other scandals, big and small, that have been erupting throughout the entire Obama administration. If one doesn’t see them as all connected, one fights the small battles and misses the war. To the extent they are engineered by the administration they are times to create crises and, like all sleight of hand, mis-focus people’s attention while the important action is happening elsewhere.
We know that Boehner and Cantor are eager to ram amnesty through Congress and want to see a bill passed before summer recess nuts only way that this can be engineered is if the portion of the electorate that is concerned is distracted to look elsewhere. By continuing to stir the Treyvon Martin lot the administration is doing just that.
So pat yourself on the back for being able to multitask, but if you see it as a series of different tasks, then you are missing the big picture.
One important point which underlies much or actually all of our current (trying to think of a word, only “hell”) will do - is the abolition of the rule of law. Butterdezillion has written many excellent, well thought out, accurate and precise comments about this.
The rule of law is over - basically all fedgov agencies, bureaus, and departments are above the law, those who are elected or hired or appointed are rarely if ever charged with any crimes, no matter what crimes they have committed. In fact, the fedgov agencies etc are used specifically in many cases for criminal acts against citizens and those considered “enemies” of the political class.
The election system is broken; criminal fraud is rampant, so the plea of “let’s elect better guys next time” is largely a fantasy; many judges are already bought and sold whores of those in power; and the media - merely the sort of unofficial propaganda arm of the cabal. Those media outlets or persons not on board are punished, spied on or killed.
And of course this criminal malfeasance extends to many states as well as corporations who consort with and aid and abet (and are often illegally enriched by) the government.
What happened to George Zimmerman is an illustration of the lawlessness of the government - and such crimes against individuals will not doubt increase.
My concern is that since voting seems not to work any more, what recourse do we have, to return to the rule of law? Here’s a link to an article I am going to ping out today - it’s a bit lengthy, but divided into segments so it’s very easy to read. This is a perfect example of the lawlessness we are up against. Rogue government has taken all our recourses away.
