You take care EinNYC! I live out in the sticks, so don’t have to worry. Closest to me is a small university town. Quite liberal, and the ‘city kids’ from Philly and Pittsburgh take classes starting in the summer. Still, I don’t expect we’ll see much trouble.

Tomorrow, I want to see what's going on regarding the main drag in my community. I don't usually see anyone that looks like they're from the housing project there, and I really hope they don't suffer any vandalism. There is a shopping center right across the street from the housing project, and I sincerely hope that there is no vandalism there as a result of the verdict. There are a couple of Dominican restaurants adjacent to the pet shop, and I hope they don't get any vandalism either.

Thus far, thank goodness, I don't hear any firecrackers or gunshots outside. It's perfectly quiet.

You couldn't pay me enough money to venture right now into Bed-Stuy, Jamaica, Cambria Heights, etc. I'd be pulled out of my car and hurt, I'm quite sure.
