According to Juan Williams and Geraldo, the fact that GZ was found not guilty “on a technicality”, does not change the fact that a 17 y o child is dead. I have not heard one report tonight anywhere, including Judge Jeanine, state the facts, that thankfully an innocent man was found not guilty after it was proven in a court of his peers that he was forced to use a weapon in self defense. He was brutally attacked by a troubled teen, suspended from school for drug violations. The dead suspect had a history of fighting, drug use, and was found with stolen jewelry. No, nothing like that.......

I agree with you that in the trial the preponderance of evidence proved GZ innocent but a not guilty verdict does not say that. A not guilty verdict just says that the prosecution did not prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Juan Williams and Geraldo are wrong GZ was not found not guilty on a technicality he was found not guilty by a jury. A technicality would be judge releasing him because of a mistake by the prosecutor (which could have happened if GZ was found guilty). Geraldo should know better.
