An unidentified man was hospitalized with a massive head injury Friday following an apparent bias-fueled attack in the West Village, witnesses and officials said. Witnesses on Greenwich Ave. near W. 12th St. said the white man who cops said is in his 30s was belting back beers outside Bennys Burritos about 5:30 p.m. when he began mouthing off to a black customer in the outdoor seating area.
You n-----s are why I lost my job, witnesses overheard the man say.
Outraged, the black man punched the bigoted boozer, sending him reeling backward onto the rain-slick sidewalk.
The mans head cracked open on the concrete, said one witness who did not want to be named.

What state?
Texas doesn’t have “fighting words.”
If the white guy had said I have a gun and I am going to blow you away, that would be assault. You don't have to touch someone to commit an assault.
The statement the white guy made broke no law.
I stand by my position
You have no position.
And you better expect to take flak from those who would shoot you to death for illegally physically attacking them over a word or looking at them wrong.
Ditto your #5.
” Although I would not be OK with the serious bodily injury YES I would be OK with him getting his butt kicked for being an obnoxious jerk.”
If that is too wordy for you this discussion is a waste of time.
“I agree, the loudmouth got what he deserved”
Just because someone insults you doesn’t give you the right under law to assault them.
The black person is guilty of assault and maybe manslaughter if the man dies.
Not gonna waste my time reading anymore if your white guilt drivel.
There is a big difference between the concepts of 'deserved' and 'justified.' A difference that liberals usually fail to see completely and one of the reasons they are unable to think rationally. It is unfortunate that there are a number here who are having the same difficulty engaging their faculties of reason. :-)
I shouldn’t say anything. I hurt a black dude real bad once who made a comment to my girlfriend with me sitting right there. The thing us that it happened in a predomintely black side of town and I guess I hurt him so bad everyone else standing around just froze.
You a deceitful piece of work...who routinely evades legitimate questions.
Anyone can read back and see your evasive dance of deceit.
I think we can pick out the liberal trolls on FR just by reading the posts supporting the black man assaulting the white guy without provocation.
Ya got that right.
My experience is recovering alcoholics go to meetings.
Alcoholics, on the other hand, are more like professional drunks and usually just go to bars or liquor stores.
In as Dr. Jekyll, out as Mr. Hyde.
So if your kid happens to get drunk, and calls someone a name, is it OK with you if that person physically attacks them causing them serious injury?
Yes or no?
LOL, thank you.
The white drunk was an a** and the black man should not have struck him. Both have and will suffer the consequences of their bad behavior and sadly probably neither one has learned a darn thing.
Maybe because I’m a hermit living in a remote rural valley and don’t have TV, I’m an anachronism. I have no idea what goes on in cities other than reading about it here.
It’s obvious our “culture” or society is in its death throes. What comes next, and how we will get from here to there, will be interesting.
Reminds me of my last tagline:
We’ll have to go through hell to get out of hell.
Why are you evading the question?
Once again:
If your kid happens to get drunk, and calls someone a name, is it OK with you if that person physically attacks them causing them serious injury?
Yes or no?
Boy - NYC’s finest.
“Okay, Chief? Yeah. Um, it’s Shwaniqwa... Um, so we got them cones set up. Um, so now what?”
