Reminds me of one I heard long ago on a comedy record album(YES, I said “RECORD” album ;-)

2 ladies sitting on a bench....footsteps heard as another lady walks by.....
Lady1: Did you see who just walked by? Tell me, do you believe that horrible awful story going around about her?
Lady2: Certainly! What’s the ugly story?
Lady 1: I dunno, I thought you knew.
Lady 2: I dunno, I thought YOU knew...but believe me, its true!

Geez..I remember when record stores had both MONO and STEREO sections...sort of like today with DVDs...Blu-Ray and regular..
