Had to leave for awhile
Know that the jury is getting a catered supper and they asked a question for clarification of manslaughter. Did she give a public answer?

They asked for clarification of the manslaughter instruction, without being specific about what needed clarifying. The court said it couldn’t engage in general discussions but might be able to answer a specific question.

BTW, the manslaughter *instruction* includes language about self defense. For all we know that could be what they are asking about.

Yeah, “ask something specific”.

Yes, she told them the question was too vague, and asked them to be more specific. Defense and prosecution lawyers constructed the answer together.
