It seems those second guessing O’Mara’s closing think he was not forceful enough. I think his closing was brilliant and that he holds the advantage over all of us, because he “knows” the jury, in that he’s seen their reactions to evidence and the lawyers every day.

Makes sense. He also proved himself a gentle kind intelligent man. Wonder what the jury watcher they hired noticed?

Those who second guess O'Mara seem to forget that the evidence is on his side...he doesn't need to "sell" it.

There's an old adage in business that good products sell themselves (just by demonstration or presentation), but weak or bad products need the hard sell.

Prosecution put on a screeching, screaming hard sale.

People instinctively know this and avoid aggressively-sold products.

BTW, I think MOM was masterful. I just hope GZ gets acquitted.

Well stated. He selected them , and has had the first hand view of their attention/reactions each and every day.

Also, i think he knew it would come down to emotion vs fact, and scripted his close the way he wanted it to appeal to them in the best way possible.
