I pray for a fair and just verdict. My support and thoughts go out to the Zimmerman family and the defense team as we wait.

Culpable negligence. Truly, they can't get to manslaughter without twisting the facts of the case.
It is the reason why the prosecution pushed hard on emotional appeal to the 6 women jury. They, the prosecution, only hope was to play for illogical emotions and not on the facts or the rule of law.
It could be because that most of the women understand the rule of law and are looking for an authority figure to help clear up some jury member(s) who is/are confused.
Exactly.
A few more seconds of his head pounded into the sidewalk, and we’re talking fractured skull and unconsciousness. Then who knows what would have happened to him.
This verdict should have taken ten minutes to decide, tops.
If it were over, they would be announcing a verdict now!
Oh well, every now and again we must offer a sacrifice to the Gods of Black Racism.
I know right? this corrupt lacky smiling all over herself with the prosecution right there means she knows the fix is in.
Damn these jurors if they sentence this man to jail for life for defending himself against an ambush attack.
Zimmerman seemed pleased when his attorney came back and talked to him a few seconds. I saw a slight smile.
that’s how I understand it as well.
can you give clarity that the instructions said something like if you find the defendant was negligent, but it did not go on to say you cannot convict on that...
the atty I listened to yesterday said that’s how it was written and it was very unclear; you cannot convict on negligence
Not over until the jury sings.
correct.
this whole compromise verdict crap is not what the jury instructions are and by the legal definitions of what constitutes manslaughter and murder 2, they would not possibly convict on either charge.
Judge was definitely smiling. Not good.

I heard one of the local (good) Florida attorney talking heads a few minutes ago that there may have been a problem with what was in the final jury instructions document. I half heard it so don’t have details.
Anyone else hear this?
“Judge was definitely smiling.”
Sickening.
in criminal trials, penalties are generally excluded to avoid swaying the juries feelings as to guilt.
I am pissed beyond belief with this entire Kangaroo Court.

It seems the judge might be researching whether to give the jurors additional instructions. They already have info with them. #Zimmermanon9
Objection — SPECULATION.

Judge just recessed for 30min. Attys and #Zimmerman file out. I’m guessing attys are scrambling for case law. #Trayvon
Zimmerman’s attorney was also smiling so this whole smiling thing may not mean much.
It could be that this clarification is for one or two jurors who are holding out for manslaughter versus not guilty. It doesn’t mean that the whole jury is seeking that clarification.
Zimmerman seemed pleased when his attorney came back and talked to him a few seconds. I saw a slight smile.
Thanks for that insight. lets hope its a good sign.
