However, out of respect for the associate and for privacy reasons we cannot provide specifics about why this associate was let go.”

Sounds like BS to me.

Sounds like BS to me.

No company will ever tell the press or anyone other than the employee why that employee was fired. To many court cases have taught companies that it is not a good idea.
