Biggirl. I am glad to post here. I am really busy. I am working 2 jobs and had a rare half day off today. Working 2 jobs is keeping me busy, The only negative is driving 50 miles a day to get to work between the 2 gigs and trying to keep the yard work up to date. I work 7 days a week. Thank You, for all the work you do here.
i bought some corsair speakers - their first attempt - and had rave reviews - they crapped out - got them replaced but in my opinion, the logitech sound better
2 speakers, 2 usb plugs, or 2 speakers, 1 usb plug? He doesn’t have many usb ports (2), compared to my HP desktop (16), and my sister is retiring back here from SF with her laptop, so i’ll need another set.
I’ll rummage around ebay and see what I can find. Thanks ag.
These?
that’s them...bought 2 pair..mine and for the grandson
Do they have to be USB?
I have some of these from Sam’s Club. They work well and cost less.

He’s only got 2 USB ports and no input jacks, like my desktop, so USB it is. No other input ports on the lapper. I’d
have to get a docking station for him, and then I could hook-up one of my extra 505watt v5.21 SS systems. I need to keep it simple for him.
He has a Logitech clip-on, but the volume is faint and unadjustable, and his hearing (WWII) needs greater volume. I’m not a Sam’s Club member.
These look nice:

But I need to hear them, somewhere. I can’t find anything close and they don’t sell online. I’ll have to go to Plan B.
Damn.
I do, too. Lots of sadness in this trial.
I have two BOSE radio/CD players and they sound very, very, very great.
Thinking about small speakers for the den, anchored to the beams - even the small speakers sound very true.
Who are all those names - departed?
All yours?
He shoots, he scores!
Hadn't thought about ebay for speakers. I don't really know much about ebay so I'm a little shy about it!
I bet that plane makes daily stops in Philadelphia!
Any USB powered speakers are not going to be very powerful. Only about 2 watts maximum, I think. Does your dad’s laptop have Bluetooth by any chance? That might be the way to go. You can get some pretty decent Bluetooth speakers that are rechargeable or will run off AC power.
It’s wireless, but I don’t think it’s Bluetooth enabled. I’ll have to check. Thanks.
