I think its wrong that the jurors don’t know the potential sentence. The fact that it is taking this long to reach a verdict is troubling. The state did not make its case. There is a ton of reasonable doubt. The only truthful, honest and just verdict is not guilty.

If they have someone trying to push for guilty or manslaughter I hope they hold out for not guilty and get a hung jury. Better to have a second trial than for Zimmerman to have to sit in prison for a year or so on appeal.

It hasn't yet taken long. Jurors have been in hotel rooms for weeks. Even if it took them five minutes to come to a consensus, it would not be surprising for them to decide that they'd rather pack up their things and present their decision in the morning, rather than present their decision and then have to pack their things.

I’m thinking that one or two holdouts for acquittal is the best we can expect and a hung jury.
