Outrageous it’s only 6 pm. They should be ashamed.
I'm going out on a limb--suspect there is at least one juror who is frazzled and incapable of coherent discussion at this point. For the sanity of the rest of the jurors, they are taking a break for the night.
They are probably exhausted. Don’t think it portends either way that they are stopping at 6. Probably want to go over the evidence good tomorrow when not so tired.

they have put in long days, they haven’t asked for breaks, they’ve often said keep going when the judge asked them if they wanted to quit or hear more jurors.
i bvelieve they are already at a verdict. i think they want a good meal, a good night’s rest’ and not to have to drive to their homes at night. they will announce before noon tomorrow.
