I can’t imagine why the jury is even taking this long to decide that George is innocent. The entire case by the state is a sham. How they can’t see it dumbfounds me.

In all seriousness, they may just want to prove “due diligence” before they came to a decision.

Because the jury KNOWS this trial is so ‘high profile’, they must take enough time to consider ALL of the details of the case. I bet they can hear the “Justice for Trayvon” chanting from the jail across the street, and the protestors outside. They need to deliberate long enough to ensure themselves and others that they are taking this VERY seriously. This request/question of theirs just verified that they are. Good sign, IMO.

The are processed in place a jury has to follow. These taken time to complete even in quickly reached verdicts.
